Understanding and Preventing Homeless Mortality (2022). Resource Type: Archived Webinar. Description: The toll of homelessness has been shown to have long-term consequences on health and quality of life. Understanding the extent and cause of mortality among people experiencing homelessness is necessary to know how to prevent future mortality. This webinar will highlight the progress of four counties in the Bay Area, California, Alameda, Marin, San Francisco, and Santa Clara, who have worked to identify and investigate homeless mortality.
