Resource Summary: This training will cover what weight stigma is and the role of weight stigma in gender-affirming medicine. Participants will hear about the most innovative and culturally responsive practices and how to be a more ethical provider within those communities. Topics discussed will include weight and gender, gatekeeping gender-affirming care through weight, body image, and how to deliver compassionate care when discussing weight with patients.
