Resource Summary: In this webinar, Sarah Eley, LICSW will discuss the process of providing mental health assessments for transgender and gender diverse people who are seeking a letter(s) of referral for gender affirming surger(ies).  Guidance will be provided on the steps within an assessment as well as considerations for administrative systems which can ease the process. The webinar will also address the presence of the power differential and providing assessments from a gender informed and affirming perspective.
