Resource Details: Before SuperStorm Sandy, Far Rockaway, NY faced significant disparities, and the community was severely tested by the storm. The NS-LIJ Creating Optimism After Sandy Trauma (COAST) Project provided services for storm victims. The project used 3 tiers: tier 1 involved youth development; tier 2 educated families and school staff; tier 3 utilized evidence-based practices for assessing and treating youth. All 3 tiers will be presented, and a special youth created video will be shared.
