Resource Summary: The Adverse Childhood Experiences Among School-Aged Children webinar focuses on the impact of adverse childhood experiences on child and adolescent health. This webinar was designed for health center and health center look-alike staff. The webinar aims to increase the audience's knowledge of and capacity to define adverse and positive childhood experiences, identify strategies health centers can implement to address the impact of adverse childhood experiences, and enhance positive experiences or mitigate the impact of adverse childhood experiences.

Resource Details: The Adverse Childhood Experiences Among School-Aged Children webinar will define adverse and positive childhood experiences, explain how experiences affect our brains and bodies across the lifespan, describe trauma-sensitive inquiry, and provide examples of activities that enhance positive experiences or mitigate the impact of adverse experiences.
