Resource Summary: CPCA developed a 2-part governance training series based on NACHC developed Governance curriculum. The two, one-hour webinars provide summaries around individual board member responsibilities, the responsibilities of a board as a collective, how to work with the CEO, and tips and tricks around board recruitment, training and retention.

Resource Details: Part I: This webinar is the first in a two-part series aimed at helping board members effectively fulfill their volunteer governance role. This first session will define board member responsibilities, explain the board-CEO partnership in governance, and how to create a positive board culture. The second part of this training will focus on board composition and recruitment. The content for these sessions will be most helpful for new and incoming board members, or for seasoned board members who would appreciate a refresher.
