Resource Details: One of the barriers to rapid vaccine deployment is transportation. Lack of transportation access mostly affects underserved communities of color. Without a ride, many people have no way of getting to a vaccination site. This is one reason why COVID-19 vaccination rates in Black and Latinx communities and other low-wealth areas are lagging, and will continue to do so.
