Resource Details: This course is available as a narrative, webinar, or an audio version to meet different learning styles. Content covers principles and application of trauma-informed care with pregnant people and their families. It outlines particular risk factors related to the COVID-19 pandemic that elevate women\'s risk of experiencing postpartum depression and/or posttraumatic stress disorder, and offers ways to mitigate these risks. Great attention is given to interacting with communities of color, and use of telehealth is explored as well. Management of infants born to COVID positive mothers is additionally covered.
