Resource Summary: This is the third webinar of the Special and Vulnerable Populations - Diabetes Task Force's 2020 National Learning Series. This session is focused on health literacy and is part of a four-part webinar series on effective strategies to prevent, treat, and manage diabetes among special and vulnerable health center program patients.

Resource Details: After watching this webinar, participants will be able to: 1) Understand the cognitive and social factors that influence health literacy in the context of diabetes management; 2) Describe how Enabling Services interventions influence patient health literacy and self-management of chronic conditions; 3_ dentify what others health centers are doing to address health literacy in special and vulnerable populations impacted by diabetes at their organizations.
