Resource Summary: Public housing residents face the challenge of living in communities with poor access to healthy foods and safe places to exercise. Addressing access to healthy food and improving diet and exercise are critical components in improving the health of public housing residents. This report provides examples of Public Housing Primary Care Grantee strategies and programs that have increased access to healthy food, exercise and weight control models for public housing residents.
