Resource Summary: This module will guide learners through the basics of transgender health care in four parts. Part 1 begins by defining transgender-related terminology, demographics, and health disparities. Part 2 focuses on providing affirmative health care to transgender patients. Part 3 discusses gender affirmation treatment, including hormonal and surgical care, and part 4 describes ways to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all patients.
