Resource Summary: This case study describes how one community health center takes a strategic approach to its board composition by implementing a board succession planning process that entails proactive efforts to: assess and identify future board composition needs, build a pipeline of candidates, and utilize board committee membership as a way to vet and prepare candidates for the board.
